Our Trip to Ensenada </b></i></h1>
Ensenada is a neat little city a couple of hours from the border. We went down for the weekend. We’ve been down there a few times, and always come back wishing we could have stayed longer. Since we’ve been there a few times, but I’ll tell you about our most memorable trip.

We took off Friday night after work and got there about 10:30 or 11:00. We finally found our hotel, The Days Inn, and unloaded the car. After we got settled, we headed for Papas & Beers.

Papas and Beers is a wild but fun place. We got there late, and the place was already crowded. We had a beer than headed across the street to Hussongs.

This place was a busy as Papas and Beers. After a while we noticed a few people walking up some stairs near the back of the building. We found out that there was another little bar upstairs. We went up and it was great. It was open and there were hardly any people up there. We didn’t have to wait an hour to get a drink, or use the restroom. It was great. The margaritas were the best. We had a really fun time. Needless to say, we went back to the hotel feeling pretty good.

The next afternoon we did a little sightseeing and looking around town. We looked around for a place to rent horses, but none of them looked good. We still had a good time looking around.

Later that evening we went to this little taco stand near Papa’s and Beer. We ordered four carne asada tacos and two beers a piece and it only cost about $7 American. They also gave up chips, green onions, carrots, and all kinds of other sides. It was an enjoyable dinner.

It was still early, but we headed over to Papa’s ad Beers again. There weren’t that many people there, so we got a seat looking out on the street. We order a couple of margaritas and just watched people walking around. About an hour later it got crazy again, so we left and went back to Hussongs. We got there and it was pretty much a repeat of the night before, except that we went straight upstairs this time.

The next afternoon the front desk called to tell us that we had to check out unless we wanted to stay another night. We forced ourselves to get up and check out. After we checked out of the hotel, we went and had lunch. After lunch we did some shopping. We made one last stop to buy our allotted two liters of alcohol and headed home. We did make a short stop to check out the city of Rosarito. All in all, it was s short trip, but definitely a fun one.
